Sustainability

At Aruna, sustainability is woven in the very fabric of our process. We take sustainability as a serious segment as we know the profound impact textile manufacturing units can do to the environment. We are committed in reducing the impact while maximizing the contributions to the society.
A detailed look at our sustainability measures we follow at our facility:

Eco-Friendly Material Sourcing:

Our first choice of sourcing is with sustainable and environmental friendly materials from organic cotton to recycled fibers whenever possible. By using eco-friendly raw materials, we strive to minimize the strain on natural resources environmental impact in our production process.

Carbon Neutrality:

We keep a close watch on our greenhouse gas emissions consistently and measure our carbon footprint, identifying areas for improvement and implement effective methods to further reduce our carbon footprint.

Sustainable Packaging:

We understand the importance of sustainable packaging and we use recycled card boards and paper for packaging our products. We constantly look out for innovative packaging solutions that are biodegradable and recyclable.

Energy-Efficiency:

By using advanced state-of-the-art energy-efficient machinery and technology, we are able to optimize energy usage throughout our process. By investing in energyefficient machinery and following smart management practices we minimize the carbon footprint and our dependency on non-renewable resources.

Waste Reduction and Recycling:

We have implemented various waste reduction and recycling programs at our facility to minimize the waste production by our operations. This includes compositing of organic materials, recycling of cardboards and paper, waste segregation etc. We have collaborated with waste recycling facilities to properly dispose the excess preventing from landing at landfills.

Sustainable Energy Utilization

Aruna is one among the few organizations to use 90% of its energy requirements from renewable sources sourced from windmills and solar farms. Aruna has turned its operations to an eco-conscious production facility by seamlessly utilizing renewable energy sources into is day-to-day production. By using renewable energy we not only reduce our carbon footprint but also pave way for a brighter and cleaner future

Water Conservation:

Water is an indispensable element in our manufacturing process and we are committed in conserving water in every stage of production. Through proper water recycling plants and filtration systems, we are able to reuse water efficiently. Our advanced dyeing technologies consume less water than conventional methods. We are proud to implement ZLD (Zero liquid discharge) system in wet processing which can treat up to 1.10Mn liters of effluent water per day
